Dr. Lucas J. van der Merwe

At the age of 7, Dr. Lucas J. van der Merwe's life was saved by a chiropractor.  Since that time, all he wanted to do was be a chiropractor and help people.

Dr. Lucas has been in the chiropractic profession for 39 years and has owned and operated The Chiropractic Store for the past 10 years.  He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June 1971 from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  He is licensed in the state of Arkansas and in South Africa.  His areas of specialty are fibromyalgia and he has completed post graduate work in many treatment techniques, including B.E.S.T., Torque Release Technique, Thompson Terminal Point Technique, Bio Cranial Technique, NRT and Matrix Energetics Technique.

He enjoys his job because of the impact it has in the lives of his patients. 

Dr. Katinka van der Merwe

Dr. Katinka has been a chiropractor for 10 years and she has practiced at The Chiropractic Store since that time.  She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.  She is a certified B.E.S.T. practitioner and is certified in 8 other techniques.  She is a specialist in the treatment of Fibromyalgia.

Dr. Katinka says, "I love giving back hope to people.  If a person has been told that they can't get better, and they do, it is amazing to see their joy!"

Outside of work, Dr. Katinka is an oil artist and loves to travel the world.  She is a risk taker who is a certified scuba diver and has sky dived.

Dr. Hannelie van der Merwe

Dr. Hannelie has been a chiropractor for 7 years.  She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life West Chiropractic College in San Francisco, CA.  She is licensed in Arkansas and South Africa. 

Dr. Hannelie completed post graduate work in B.E.S.T., and Torque Release.  She specializes in extremity work and geriatric care.
